Kristie is passionate about working with clients interested in incorporating body-based awareness and mind-body connection into therapy, utilizing movement-based approaches when appropriate to meet each client's unique needs.

Her therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and DBT-informed, incorporating dance/movement therapy principles to help clients connect deeply with their whole selves, body and mind. Kristie aims to help clients feel heard, understood, safe, and secure. She provides a warm, supportive, and collaborative space and believes that a secure and trusting relationship is one of the most important parts of a therapeutic experience. Her hope is for clients to experience a space where they are able to explore with curiosity and care, connect with their whole selves, and grow in ways that are meaningful to them.

With a graduate degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute and a decade of clinical experience in inpatient psychiatric settings, Kristie brings both specialized training and practical expertise to her work. She understands how to hold space for clients who are experiencing heightened anxiety, stress, life transitions, and depression, meeting them where they are with compassion and clinical skill.

Outside the therapy room, Kristie enjoys time with people she cares about, experiencing live music, and spending time outdoors. She values movement and creativity as parts of her life both professionally and personally.
