About Us
-
We're not here to play it safe or follow a rulebook that was written decades ago by people who never met you. We believe therapy should feel less like a clinical appointment and more like showing up to a space where someone actually gets it. We work with artists, creatives, and anyone who's ever felt like they don't quite fit the mold, because honestly, that mold was broken anyway. We talk about the hard stuff without making it harder. We celebrate the messy, the unfinished, the still-figuring-it-out. And we're building something here that feels more like a creative collective than a waiting room.
-
Real humans who've done their own work and keep doing it. We're not just credentialed professionals checking boxes. We're people who understand that creativity and mental health are deeply intertwined, who know what it's like to feel stuck, scared, or silenced. We bring our whole selves to this work because we expect you to bring yours.
-
We don't. Here's why: those 15-minute calls often feel rushed and transactional, like speed dating but for therapy. Instead, we encourage you to read through our site, check out our Instagram stories, and get a feel for our voice and approach. When you're ready to start, you're STARTing for real.
Services
-
Individual therapy for adults who are ready to do the work. We integrate creative approaches because sometimes words aren't enough. Sometimes you need to move, make, or sit in silence. We meet you where you are and help you figure out where you want to go.
-
Yes, but we have limited availability for couples therapy on our team. For the most part, we're focused on individual work with the people who need a different kind of space to heal and create. If you're interested in couples or family therapy, reach out and we can let you know about current availability and options.
-
We offer a variety of therapy options both in persona and virtually.
-
Sessions are typically 50-55 minutes. Sometimes that feels like forever. Sometimes it flies by. Either way, it's your time.
Specialties
-
We work with creatives, artists, musicians, writers, makers, and anyone who's ever felt like their brain works differently. We specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, creative blocks, perfectionism, identity exploration, and all the tangled stuff that comes with being human and trying to make something meaningful out of it. We're also really good at helping people start the things they've been terrified to start.
-
Absolutely not. You just have to be willing to show up honestly. If you've ever made a playlist, doodled in a margin, rearranged your room at 2am, or felt something so deeply you didn't have words for it, you're creative enough for us.
Fees/Insurance
-
Therapy isn't cheap. We won't pretend it is.
But here's what you're actually paying for: a space that gets it. A therapist who sees you, not a diagnosis. Time to untangle the mess, find your voice, and create the life you've been too scared or too stuck to start.
Individual and Couples Therapy: Pay as you can per session
Group Therapy: $50 per sessionWe require a 24-hour notice for cancellations. Life happens; we understand that. But no-shows or last-minute cancellations mean we can't offer that spot to someone else who needs it.
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and electronic payments.

We get it. Therapy is an investment, and not everyone is in a place to make that investment right now. We encourage you to explore community resources, sliding-scale options in your area, or online support groups until you're ready. Your healing matters, even if it doesn't start here.
General
-
If you're asking the question, there's probably something inside you that already knows you need support. Maybe you're stuck. Maybe you're scared. Maybe you just know something has to shift. Therapy isn't about being "broken enough" to deserve help. It's about being brave enough to ask for it.
-
That's entirely up to you. Some people come for a season. Some people stay for years. Some people leave and come back when life gets hard again. There's no timeline, no graduation date. We work together until you feel ready to keep going on your own.
-
Perfect. That's actually a great place to start. We'll figure it out together. Therapy isn't a performance. You don't need to have your thoughts organized or your feelings packaged neatly. Show up as you are. We'll take it from there.
-
Please do. Your creative work is part of who you are. If it helps you process, explore, or express what's happening inside, bring it in. We want to see it, hear it, witness it.
Still Not Sure If We're The Right Fit?
That's okay. Trust your gut. Sit with it. And when you're ready to start
something new, something you've been dreaming about or afraid of for years, we'll be here.
