Danielle LaGrandier is a Board-Certified and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist who creates transformative healing spaces for adolescents and adults navigating life's most challenging moments. With over a decade of clinical experience and specialized expertise in addiction recovery, LGBTQ+ identity, and relationship dynamics, she brings both professional excellence and deep personal understanding to her therapeutic work. Danielle is particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ clients through the complexity of identity formation and self-expression, as well as working with couples ready to move beyond conflict patterns into authentic connection.

Her therapeutic approach integrates multiple evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, Jungian and Freudian principles, Gestalt techniques, and Spirituality-based counseling. This comprehensive toolkit, combined with her creative arts therapy background, allows her to meet clients when words aren't enough. Danielle's approach is gentle yet grounded in accountability, creating a space where self-reflection and strengths-based work can flourish. She believes the creative process offers insight into the underlying thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that drive our struggles, helping clients peel back the layers of trauma and discover their authentic selves beneath the wounds.

With extensive experience across inpatient and outpatient behavioral health and addiction-focused treatment settings, Danielle has supported clients through anger management, life after long-term incarceration, substance use recovery, and the complex trauma that often underlies presenting concerns. Her background has equipped her with the clinical sophistication needed to address challenging situations with both compassion and practical guidance. Understanding her natural strengths as a healer from a young age, Danielle connects deeply with both the wounded healer and intuitive healer archetypes, using her own transformed pain to witness others in theirs without flinching.

Outside the therapy room, Danielle's first love is music, and if she's not working as a therapist, you can find her somewhere near live music. She enjoys nature-based art and travel, finding inspiration in the world around her. Her home is shared with 3 cats, 1 dog, and 2 chickens, reflecting her appreciation for the grounding presence of animals and the natural world.

  • Turning Victimhood Into Empowerment
A lot of us get comfortable being the victim of our circumstances because generational trauma taught us how to. Together, we can discover your strengths and use them as tools to observe your pain points and transform them to meet your highest potential.

  • Healing Through Shared Experience
Like Chiron in mythology, Danielle has learned to transform her own wounds into wisdom that allows her to witness yours without flinching. She uses both her natural intuition and lived experience to create healing through the art of connection.

  • Spiritual Integration Without the Fluff
Danielle values thinking outside the realms of traditional therapy through energy healing practices and sacred tools that support the healing process. Spirituality is subjective, and your path is yours alone. She's here to honor that uniqueness and help you connect to something larger than the pain.

"Our work together will offer you the tools and sense of autonomy to create the life you want for yourself. My hope for you is to develop a sense of self-worth strong enough to make meaningful changes after years of conditioning told you that you couldn't. Our collaboration together will allow you to make space for what's meant for you, turning your pain into purpose."
